Set in the heart of Keighley’s town centre, this collaborative exhibition aimed to make art more accessible. A vibrant mix of canvases, vases, and handcrafted textiles brought together both new and previously exhibited works. Spanning Arabic calligraphy to modern contemporary pieces, the collection highlighted the intersection of cultural heritage and evolving artistic expression.

Commissioned by Kala Sangam Art Academy, this exhibition reflected on the profound themes of climate and nature. My mixed-media installation incorporated a sand-textured background with geometrically arranged copper squares, symbolizing the radiating energy of the sun. Titled “Suraj” (Urdu for sun), the work embodied warmth, evolution, and the ever-changing yet eternal essence of nature.

A vibrant exploration of South Asian culture, this mixed-media exhibition delved into themes of history, heritage, calligraphy, and henna art. “Sab Rang,” meaning “all colours” in Urdu, was a fitting name for a collection that celebrated the diverse artistic expressions of South Asian roots.

As the first of its kind to feature my work, the showcase offered a compelling dialogue between different cultural heritages and artistic traditions.

A groundbreaking exhibition highlighting the new wave of Black artists in the North, “Slate” featured my first mandala piece (“Punjabi Lush”), a mesmerizing watercolour (“Black Hole Inside”), and my debut oil painting (“Ferns”), a collaboration with my son Adam. The collection’s rich hues and layered textures invited viewers to discover something new with every glance.
