Arabic calligraphy has been a profound source of inspiration for me ever since my first trip to Istanbul many years ago. Captivated by its flowing elegance, rhythmic movement, and deep meaning, I explore the beauty of this art form by fusing tradition with contemporary design. My work primarily features text from Islamic scriptures and the Quran, enriched with intricate embellishments and mixed media techniques. By blending classical Arabic scripts with cultural motifs such as geometric patterns, South Asian paisley, and henna designs, I create pieces that bridge heritage and modernity—honouring faith while celebrating artistic diversity.
